Violet Crown Festival is an annual spring festival in Austin featuring food, live music, artisan crafts, & family-friendly activities. This year, it will feature a BBQ cook-off, with teams from around the city jockeying to smoke the competition. The festival will be held on May 3rd, from 10 AM to 5 PM, at Brentwood Park in Crestview. Admission is free and proceeds will benefit community projects.
